Terms & Conditions
Effective date: October 27, 2025
Welcome to FoodWeb — available at https://foodweb.virolox.com/. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any related mobile/web applications (collectively, the "Service"). By using or accessing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
-
"We", "Us", "Our" — FoodWeb (foodweb.virolox.com) and its operators.
-
"You", "User", "Customer" — any person or entity using the Service.
-
"Content" — text, images, logos, menus, user reviews, product/service listings, and other materials available on the Service.
-
"Partner" — restaurants, delivery partners, sellers, or third-party providers who list products or provide services through the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
-
You may browse parts of the Service without an account, but some features (placing orders, saving addresses, leaving reviews) require registration.
-
You are responsible for keeping your account login information confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
-
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Use of the Service
-
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
-
You must not misuse the Service (including any automated access, scraping, or reverse engineering).
-
You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide (e.g., delivery addresses, payment details).
5. Ordering, Pricing & Payments
-
Orders placed through the Service are offers to the relevant Partner. Acceptance occurs when the Partner confirms the order.
-
Prices shown on the Service are the responsibility of Partners and are subject to change. The final price charged will appear on your order confirmation.
-
We may accept multiple payment methods (credit/debit cards, wallets, or other payment providers). All payments are processed through our payment partners — we do not store your full payment card details unless you expressly opt into saved payment methods.
-
You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes for orders placed through your account.
6. Delivery & Cancellation
-
Delivery times are estimates provided by Partners; actual delivery times may vary.
-
Cancellation and refund policies are set by the Partner or by the Service (if we handle refunds). Check the order confirmation and refund policy for details.
7. Content & User Contributions
-
Users may submit reviews, ratings, photos, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display it in connection with the Service.
-
You must not post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise prohibited.
-
We may remove or refuse to display User Content at our discretion.
8. Intellectual Property
-
All trademarks, logos, designs, text, images, and software on the Service are our property or used with permission and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
-
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any material from the Service without our prior written consent, except for caching, printing for personal use, or as permitted by law.
9. Third-Party Links & Partners
-
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
-
Partners are independent businesses; any dispute about food quality, allergies, delivery times, or refunds should first be raised with the Partner and — if unresolved — with our support team.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
-
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
-
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
-
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or, if greater, INR 1,000 (or the local-currency equivalent), except as required by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FoodWeb, its officers, employees, Partners, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Service.
12. Suspension & Termination
-
We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict access to the Service, at any time and for any reason, including suspected fraud or violations of these Terms.
-
Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose information. By using the Service you consent to our privacy practices.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on the Service with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where FoodWeb operates (unless otherwise required by local law). Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by the courts in that jurisdiction.
